Miracle can save India, Afghanistan

This concerns the news about LeT head Hafiz Mohammad who was put on house arrest by Pakistani establishment. It won?t help. Didn't they take similar steps the last time India got serious about Pakistani connection to acts of terror? They will keep this one under ?house arrest? and in the meantime prop up some new fundamentalist who will form a new ?charity? under another Arabic name and carry on the "good work".

This is just cosmetic. It won’t help. Hell no… unless I have some memory problem.

Didn't they do acts of the same type the last time India got serious about Pakistani connection to acts of terror? I think there needs to be a creative way of addressing this issue—cat and mouse, dark and light doesn’t work. They will keep this one under “house arrest” and in the meantime prop up some new fundamentalist or release him and he will form a new “charity” under another Arabic name.

Pakistan needs to be convinced that it is a win-win for all the sides if they curb these fundamentalists—but I wonder if they are willing to be convinced, because in a sense asking them to curb them is asking them to commit suicide because most of their establishment is in principle fundamentalists.

Only some miracle can help Afghanistan and India—I guess.
