After working with Bollywood disco king Mithun Chakraborty in Chandni Chowk To China, superstar Akshay Kumar says the former is a "classic actor".

"This is the first time I have worked with Mithun Da. He's a classic actor and a very warm human being. It was a pleasure to work with him.

"I used to connect with him as a father figure and it was very touching. I hope the audience feels it too by watching the film," Akshay added.

Chandni Chowk To China, which also stars Deepika Padukone, released Friday to disappointing reviews.
