According to sources, Priyanka Lodhi, niece of Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Dhruv Ram Lodhi, was found in a compromising position with Santosh Vishwakarma on May 15. Outraged, the girl’s father, Ramesh Lodhi — with the assistance of his two domestic helps — reportedly strangled of duo to death on the same night.

The police have recovered Santosh’s body. A motorcycle and a rope used in the murder, too, have been found.

The whereabouts of Priyanka’s body, however, could not be ascertained.

Speaking on the matter, the BSP leader said the culprit, whosoever he might be, would get the punishment as per the rule of the law.
