Moderate intensity earthquake hits Gujarat

The earthquake, measuring 4.4 on the Richter Scale, hit the Kutch region at 6.24 am.

A slight intensity temblor shook some parts of the Kutch region along the Indo-Pak border in Gujarat on Friday morning, the Meteorological Department said.

The epicentre of the quake was 23.9 degrees north of latitude and 70.5 degrees east of longitude.
