Moderate intensity quake at Sikkim-Nepal border

The tremor, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, was recorded at 2.02 am and was epicentred at 27.7 degrees North latitude.

A moderate intensity earthquake occurred in the Indo-Nepal border region in Sikkim in the early hours of Sunday, the Meteorological Department said.
