A slight intensity earthquake struck the Kachchh region of Gujarat on Monday morning.
The quake, measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale, hit at around 0643 IST, the MeT department said in New Delhi.

There were no reports of any damage.
The Kachchh region was hit by a devastating quake in 2001 which claimed hundreds of lives.
