Moderate quake jolts Andamans

The quake, measuring 6.0 on Richter Scale, was felt at 2.04 am this morning.

A moderate intensity earthquake rocked the Andaman islands in the wee hours on Saturday morning, the Meteorological Department said.

The quake, measuring 6.0 on the Richter Scale, was felt at 2.04 am this morning.

The epicentre of the temblor was 11.8 degree North latitude and 92.1 degree East longitude, the MeT office said.
