A moderate intensity quake shook Bhaderwah valley and adjoining areas in Doda-Kishtwar belt of Jammu and Kashmir, triggering panic among the people.

The tremor measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale shook the valley around 11.39 pm on Wednesday night, Met officials said.

There was no immediate report of any casualty or injury from anywhere.
However, most of the people rushed out of their houses due to fear.
In May, Bhaderwah and adjoining areas witnessed 37 tremors.
