“Truth on this issue must come out,” he tweeted.

“Centre is unable to give a strong answer to Pakistan’s inhuman acts. Beheading of our soldiers & now Sarabjit’s death are 2 recent examples,” read another tweet.

Later in the day Modi raked up the issue again at his public meetings in Karnataka.

Lambasting the Centre for failing to create awareness through its embassies and bringing international pressure on Pakistan on the issue of shifting a critically injured Sarabjit to India, Modi said instead of forcing the international community to pressure Pakistan, the UPA government had left it to the family.

“When his sister was crying for her brother, government did not show its strength. It is a weak government,” he said.
