Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be accompanied on his Japan trip by the most high-powered business delegation ever to travel with an Indian head of government on a foreign visit, a sign that this government is serious about encouraging investment and reviving the economy. Modi is scheduled to leave for Japan on August 30.

The list of business delegates was prepared by the PMO after taking the consent of the individuals and given to CII, which is acting as the secretariat for the business delegation.
