Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday wished his predecessor Manmohan Singh on his birthday. "Best wishes and warm greetings to Dr Manmohan Singh ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with a long life and good health," the Prime Minister said, according to an official release.

Singh turned 82 on Friday. Modi also posted his wishes for Singh on social networking site 'Twitter'. The Prime Minister had yesterday embarked on a five-day visit to the US.
