Moga case - Remand for 2 cops extended

The Punjab CBI court in Patiala extends remand of two police officials after their names surfaced during the investigation into the Moga sex scandal.

The Punjab CBI court in Patiala on Friday extended remand of two police officers in custody for one day. Special Judge H S Madan in Patiala extended the remand of Assistant Inspector General of Punjab Police (Security) Devinder Singh Garcha and Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Rupnagar, Paramdip Singh Sandhu for one more day. The court on Wednesday had remanded them for two days for the CBI custody.

The CBI arrested the two police officials from their houses in Chandigarh on Tuesday after their names surfaced during the investigation into the Moga sex scandal.
