Once again, Mohsin, through his impressive batting, made IPC winner in a keenly-fought contest. The decision of Irani Club to invite IPC to bat first after winning the toss went wrong when the bowlers failed.

Even after sending back the opening pair cheaply, the Irani bowlers failed to capitalise upon the opportunity of harnessing the moisture available in the wicket in the morning.

Mohsin, who came to bat one down, once again took the onus upon himself to pull the team out of morass. When the team reached 15, its two openers had gone. Mohisn, through his gusty 103 helped the team in setting a 208-run target in 40 overs. His innings contained nine boundaries.

Sohail Masood and Aqueel contributed 33 and 35 runs respectively as the team scored 207 for 8. Chasing the total, Irani Club started playing positively and kept up with the asking run rate.
