The "web of corruption" would lead to the fall of BJP," he told reporters in Bangalore.

"Blaming Governor H R Bhardwaj or Congress to cover up its corruption would not last long", he said, rejecting charges against his party after the Governor gave sanction to prosecute Yeddyurappa on allegations of corruption.

In a sarcastic remark, he said the Yeddyurappa-led BJP government "is the most transparent government so far as corruption is concerned."

"It is so transparent that corruption is taking place by way of bank account, land allotment, denotification and illegal mining without caring for the prevailing law or respect to the Constitution," he charged.

Alleging that the administration had totally collapsed in the state, Moily said only 35 per cent of the central funds sanctioned under various schemes had been utilised and the rest was "misused" for other purposes.
