The warrant was issued a day after Khan, a Congress leader, resigned from the post after a doctor had alleged that he molested her at his office in Srinagar.

Though the police have summoned Khan for questioning, he has evaded them so far. The FIR was registered on directions of a court here on Thursday, nine days after the incident took place on January 28. The police had forwarded the case's FIR to the CJM on Friday. It is being said that he is living with his sister in Sunjwan, Jammu.

So far, police have questioned three employees at the Srinagar secretariat in connection with the sexual assault case, and have also clicked photographs of the cabin where the minister had allegedly tried to molest the doctor.
