The bureaucrat-headed agency should be replaced by a regulatory body, which has inherent statutory status and enough funds. a way ahead would be for every school and college in Delhi to adopt monuments. They should be free to levy entry fee and seek donations. This model will work as educational institutions have a sharp sense of history and heritage.
