PARTY TEMPERS were stoked and the mood set in for New Year fever with two big bashes that were organised with the City’s who’s who swinging to the beats on X-mas.
On Christmas Eve, at the Motel Shiraz party, the music was more than perfect and fun infinite. Black was the theme of the party and so was the dress code. To create the look of the galaxy, the dance floor was done in a combination of black and silver dust and the ceiling studded with stars.
The evening chill could not dampen spirits with chief anchor Aruneshwar Singh Deo enthralling all with his witty remarks. People from all age groups thoroughly enjoyed the party and children enjoyed receiving gifts from Santa the most.
The other X-mas celebration, this time for children, was at Kanha Fun City which organises an X-mas Carnival every year inviting children from all over the City and even peripheral towns. About 10,000 children along with their parents enjoyed the festival organised at the Fun City on December 24 and 25.
Children between the age groups of 3 to 6 years and 6 to 10 years took part in competitions like dancing with the DJ, a fancy dress competition, best Santa boy and girl and a talent hunt. Children visiting the party enjoyed to the hilt with sweets, ice-creams and chocolates.
