The introduction of the new handset in the domestic market is coinciding with its launch globally.

The GSM version of the black and white handset would be available with a bundled offer from BSNL at a price of Rs 1,650, Motorola Corporate Vice President High Growth Markets Mobile Devices Allen Burnes said.

He said the new user would also get free talk-time of Rs 150 every month for next three years under the offer with BSNL.

"The phone has been designed specifically for the Indian market and will be produced in our unit here. The handset offers voice prompt feature in about seven regional languages apart from English," he said.

It is available on both the GSM and CDMA platforms, he said, adding the new phone would also be available with other service providers very soon.
