Mercury rose by a few notches in parts of Rajasthan with Mount Abu still remaining the coldest place in the state with a minimum temperature of 4 degrees Celsius early Wednesday morning. This was followed by Churu where people shivered at 5.2 degrees Celsius, a MET official said in Jaipur.

Meanwhile, Dholpur also received some rainfall. Day temperature is likely to rise in parts of the state during next few days, he added.
Ganganagar, Sikar, Bundi and Bikaner chilled at 6.3, 8.5 and 8.8 and 9.5 degree Celsius respectively, while Dholpur and Chittorgarh recorded a minimum temperature of 11 degree Celsius. Jaipur, Jaisalmer and Barmer settled at a low of 11.4, 12.1 and 13.8 degree Celsius respectively.
