Voters in the Calcutta North East Lok Sabha constituency may be in for a surprise when they go to elect their representative on May 10. They may not be quite familiar with the Congress candidate Indira Mukherjee.
With the 'balika bodhu' filing her nomination in her 'real name', Mousumi Chatterjee, as she is popularly known, declared her assets to the tune of Rs 2 crore approximately.
The affidavit accompanying her nomination papers indicate that the 45-year-old, non-matric filmstar is one of the few 'crorepatis' contesting from West Bengal.

Her jewellery is worth Rs 6,15,922 and she has one flat at Lonavala and another in Pali Hills worth Rs 2,65,557.
Her cars include a Santro and a Hyundai Accent.
