?WE WILL ensure that work on Omkareshwar Hydro Power Project finishes in the set timeframe and in the next two to three years MP will be made a developed State,?? said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing the gathering after inaugurating the commencement of first unit turbine and generator erection of the Omkareshwar 520-mw Hydroelectric Project today.

He congratulated Narmada Hydroelectric Development Corporation (NHDC) for completing the work of Unit 1 turbine on time and maintained that in future also government of MP would sanction schemes to NHDC for execution. This unit will generate 130-mw power.

He informed that site at Sidhi has been selected for power plant and land for the same is being made available.
