Mphasis BFL Ltd, an offshore services provider, on Monday claimed that it has been ranked among the top 100 global outsourcing service providers by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).
The official rankings for 2006 prepared by IAOP would be published in a special advertising feature in the April 3 issue of 'Fortune' magazine.
"We are delighted to be included in this list recognising the world's top outsourcing service providers. This ranking is especially satisfying and encouraging since the panel of judges included users of outsourcing services, industry experts and peers - people who have a thorough understanding of our domain," Mphasis BFL Chairman and CEO Jerry Rao said.
The global outsourcing 100 list is based on applications received and evaluated by an independent panel of judges and defines the standard for excellence in outsourcing service delivery.
The IAOP is a global membership-based organisation comprising nearly 200 leading companies, representing almost every industry type and functional activity, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
