EPG is a comprehensive on-screen list of what's playing on what channel and when for over the next 15 days. Its a interactive service that will allow viewers to find, choose, view and record shows at their convenience, all at the press of a remote control button. The first of its kind in India the service will cover over 80 English, Hindi and other regional language channels.

The service will be provided free for all those who have a Windows XP Media Centre based PC. It will automatically download and update every time the Pc goes online.

EPG will allow easy access to one's favourite programmes and programme descriptors, that is it will describe the programme/movie plot, start time, duration, actors, directors and genre.

It also comes with conflict resolution feature. Now if you schedule a match recording when your wife wants to record 'Khana Khazana' - the EPG will resolve the conflict for you by automatically searching for the repeat telecast of either of the two programs over the next few days and scheduling the two recordings separately - ensuring matrimonial bliss.

Matrimonial bliss between the sexes or between man and machine ?
