Murder charge framed against Susairaj

The sessions court framed charges of murder, criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence against Kannada actress Maria Susairaj and her fiancee Emile Jerome Mathew in the Neeraj Grover murder case.

The sessions court on Tuesday framed charges of murder, criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence against Kannada actress Maria Susairaj and her fiancee Emile Jerome Mathew in the Neeraj Grover murder case.

"The trial is likely to start within a month," said Wahab Khan, who is representing Mathew.

The trial will be conducted by additional sessions judge C A Jadhav.

According to the prosecution, on May 7, 2008 Susairaj and Mathew, a naval officer, killed Neeraj Grover, creative head of the TV production house Synergy Adlabs, and chopped his body into several pieces before disposing it.
