The Mumbai Police on Tuesday launched a massive manhunt across the city and on the Internet to nab the fourth suspect in the alleged abduction and murder of teenager Adnan Patrawala on Monday.
Adnan, 16, was kidnapped and killed by four of his “friends”, whom he had met on the social networking site Orkut. His body was found in a gutter in Navi Mumbai.
Three of the suspects — Ayush Bhat (19), Khimesh Ambavat (17) and Sujith Nair (28) — were also produced in an Andheri court.
The missing suspect was identified as Raj, a police investigator said, adding that the police were looking for another possible suspect, identified as Lala.
The police insisted they were not looking for a girl known as “Angel D” — whom Adnan was supposed to meet on Saturday night, according to a message on his Orkut scrapbook. Oshiwara police has now
identified Angel as Neha.
