You have played a father in The Namesake and again in Apna Asmaan. However, the characters are different in the two films…Are all fathers similar?

I wish this phrase is repeated frequently for years till I get engrossed in something other than films.
Looking back, your character in Metro shouldn’t have done that dancing around at the end.

Not exactly around trees — my head would spin if I chose to dance round and round trees.
Does box-office success matter to you?
Expression and economics has been in conflict forever and it will remain like that. However, box office success without expression means little and with expression it does matter a lot. I would never want my producer to lose money, unless the subject is so urgent and compelling (which is rare).
