"My position on the issue (of reservation) is well-known. Why put questions on it," he replied when asked about his views on the ongoing protests by students against the proposed move by Centre to reserve seats for Other Backward Classes in educational institutions.

Singh was in Pune as guest of honour at the seventh convocation of the Bharati Vidyapeeth, a deemed university.

Asked about the agenda of the newly-formed 'Jan Morcha' headed by Raj Babbar, the former Prime Minister said "we have to decide it."

"We will sit together and decide on the agenda in due course of time," he added.
