Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday attacked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi for criticising Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and said the party has lost the "fundamental right" to seek votes in the upcoming assembly polls.
"Both Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi targetted Nitish Kumar for Bihar's backwardness despite knowing that Congress ruled the state for more than 40 years and supported the jungle raj of RJD for another 15 years," he told a press conference.
He slammed Singh and Gandhi also for their comment on central assistance to Bihar saying it was made in 'bad taste'.
"It (the central funds) is not the property of Mamohan Singh or Sonia Gandhi ... The funds that the states receive are the hard-earned money of the poor and the tax payers and no body has the right to talk about it in such a manner.
"Congress and its allies, including RJD and LJP cease to have the fundamental right to seek votes in Bihar," he said.
Accusing the Congress and RJD of being "hand-in-glove", Naidu said both the parties "speak against each other during the day only to turn friends in the evening".

{{/usCountry}}Contuing his tirade against the UPA government, Naidu said it had a 'leader who presides and Sonia decides', while the NDA government in the state had able leaders Nitish Kumar and Sushil Kumar Modi who evolves schemes and take their own decisions for implementation.
The NDA, he claimed, would win the Bihar poll with comfortable majority.
