Prime Minister Narendra Modi has the people in his corner at the moment, according to results of an online survey conducted by HT.

Of the 6,734 people who voted, 75% are happy with the PM’s performance till now.

As his government approaches 100 days in power, Modi gets the thumbs up for efforts to control price rise and spur development.

Readers also back him on whether he has spoken or done enough against communal violence. The approval ratings, however, are not as high as in the other questions on this one.

According to the readers, the top three priorities for his government should be controlling price rise, tackling corruption and targeting inclusive growth. Creating job opportunities stands a close fourth, ahead of law and order and women’s safety.
