Narendra Modi votes, says Gujarat will ensure BJP win

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi cast his ballot at 9 am at a polling station in Ranip, under the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency, in Ahmedabad.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi cast his ballot at 9 am at a polling station in Ranip, under the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency, in Ahmedabad on Thursday. Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial aspirant LK Advani is the party candidate from Gandhinagar.

Modi was accompanied by a large number of BJP supporters who thronged outside the polling station as the Gujarat Chief Minister cast his vote.

Talking to reporters after voting, Modi said the "people of Gujarat will ensure that the BJP wins the Lok Sabha poll with a thumping majority in the country".

"We will ensure that senior BJP leader LK Advani wins with a big majority of votes in Gujarat," the chief minister added.
