Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah's wife Payal and two sons had a narrow escape on Sunday afternoon when the raft they were riding overturned in the gushing waters of the Beas.

Abdullah's family members, who are holidaying in Kullu, escaped unhurt.
Lifeguards on the raft acted quickly and rescued them.
