Naval chief to visit Southern Naval Command on Sept 16

Naval Chief, Admiral Nirmal Kumar Verma, will be arriving here on September 16 on his first official visit to the Southern Naval Command after assuming office.

A host of events are scheduled during the Naval Chief's visit, which include a Ceremonial Parade and a visit to the Joint Operations Centre for Coastal Defence, a Naval press release said today.

The Admiral, who will be accompanied by his wife Madhulika Verma, will leave Kochi on September 17.
