Naxalites torch MSRTC bus in Gadchiroli

A group of armed Naxalites today set afire an MSRTC bus plying between Malewada and Gadchiroli during their bandh call given to protest against killing of CPI Central Committee member Cherukuri Rajkumar alias Azad in Andhra Pradesh.

Police said Naxalites asked the bus passengers to get down and set ablaze the bus.

Police parties were yet to reach the site, police said quoting initial reports.
