Naxals hack 2 youths to death in M'rashtra

The Naxalites had a quarrel with the villagers, mostly tribals, over providing meals, support and shelter to policemen.

Naxalites hacked to death two youths and injured six others in Laskar village in neighbouring Gadchiroli district, police said on Sunday.

The Naxalites, numbering around 60 and belonging to Platoon Dalam, had a quarrel on Saturday night with the villagers, mostly tribals, over providing meals, support and shelter to policemen.

The ultras then axed to death two 25-year-olds -- Deorao Komti Chima and Madhukar Chippa Widhti -- and injured six others, they said.
