Mir along with his supporters joined PDP in presence of party patron and former chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in Jammu on Tuesday evening.

Earlier this month, senior Congress leader and former MLA from Billawar, Thakur Balbir Singh had joined the PDP.

Welcoming Mir into the party fold, Sayeed said his party has a vision of a prosperous and peaceful state.
