Consequent upon adoption of ITI, Kishtwar, under vocational training improvement provement (VTIP) scheme, NHPC's Dulhasti power station provided tools for workshops and an automobile to the institute during a function presided over by Dulhasti general manager Arvind Bhat in the presence of NHPC chief engineer Ajay Mathur and staff members and students of ITI, Kishtwar.
Scholarships were also distributed to the meritorious students of the institute.
Bhat said that tools and equipments have been provided to the institute based on a need assessment survey.
A meeting of institute's management committee was also held under the chairmanship of Bhat, wherein various issues for upgrade of the institute were discussed.
ITI principal welcomed Bhat and thanked him for providing tools and equipment, besides encouraging the students.
