Nine killed in auto-lorry collision in Andhra Pradesh

Nine persons, including two women, were killed today and another injured when their auto rickshaw collided with a lorry in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, police said.

Nine persons, including two women, were killed on Saturday and another injured when their auto rickshaw collided with a lorry in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, police said.

The mishap occurred near Varadai Palli village in Mydukur mandal around 9 am, killing nine persons on the spot, police said.

The vehicle carrying 10 persons was proceeding towards Mydukuru and the lorry was on its way to Nellore town, when the incident happened, according to the police.

The deceased have not been identified yet.
