Ninth class student raped in Punjab village

A ninth class student was allegedly raped by two youths in Mawa village in Hoshiarpur.

According to police, Gurmeet Singh and Harjinder Singh, both of Behbowal Chanian village, allegedly forcibly took the girl, hailing from Thay Barnala, to village Mawa on their motorcycle while she was going to school on January 24 .

The duo threated to kill the girl and Harjinder Singh allegedly raped her twice before leving the victim at village Nangal Bihala.

They threatenedd to kill her if she reported this incident to anyone.

A case has been registered against Harjinder Singh and Gurmit Singh.
