Sizzling hot on the promos with her title track Aa ke darr, darr ke marr… in Ram Gopal Varma’s Darna Zaroori Hai, the James girl is just back from Dubai after her shoot of Bhatt’s The Killler! Unlike her screen image, Nisha looks very cute and innocent in real life sans make-up. Currently busy shuttling studios and outdoors for three films, we caught up with Nisha at her den after a hard day at shooting.

Tell us something about The Killer
I play a bar dancer in the film opposite Emraan Hashmi and it has a beautiful story line. The Killer is a thriller and story of a single night. More than this, I am not supposed to divulge much about the film because I am still shooting for the film.
Having Emraan as your co-star, how many kissing do we see in The Killer?
Ha ha ha…I knew you would ask me this question. However, you will be surprised to know that there is no kissing scene in the film. I know people will be disappointed knowing Emraan not doing a kissing scene.
So are you happy about it?
Honestly, I would like to give full credit to the Bhatts because they didn’t incorporate a kissing scene to titillate the audience. Actually the story didn’t have any reasons to have a kiss, so I am really happy about it.
What do you have to say about being the blue-eyed girl of Ram Gopal Varma?
What do you have to say about being the blue-eyed girl of Ram Gopal Varma?
Well, what can I say? Any thing that I say would be twisted and misquoted, so I would prefer to concentrate on my work rather than talk about it.
But you are doing so many projects with the RGV camp? How do you explain that?
Yes, it is true that I started with RGV banner and am currently doing Go, Shiva and I have two songs in Darna Zaroori Hai. I am a newcomer in the industry and if RGV banner is offering me projects, give me one reason as to why should I refuse such a wonderful offer. I must confess, I am really lucky but then I am hard working too and may be that is why I have got so many projects with RGV banner. In fact, people are dying to work with Ramu sir, so I have no complain as such (smiles).
Tell us something about your other two projects Go and Shiva.
In Go I play a bubbly 18-year-old girl. It is a very cute film and we are almost on the verge of finishing the shoot for the film. Then Ramu sir is directing Shiva, in which I play a crime reporter while Mohit plays an inspector. Currently, I am busy shooting for all these films.
What are your other projects that you have signed?
Well, I haven’t signed any more projects as such. However, there are offers aplenty and I am taking my time to pick up the best and the right projects.
How do you pass your time when you are not shooting?
I am a real passionate girl, who lives films, day in and day out. I work out to keep in shape because I love eating all the time (laughs). I watch films and I have really loved Mani Ratnam’s Bombay, Roja and Dil Se.
Ummmmm…. so are you hinting to work with Mani Ratnam then?
Ha ha ha hah…how I wish! But you know I always believe that people will cast you only if you fit the character not otherwise. Yes, I would love to be part of good cinema, which is made by brilliant directors. I guess everybody wants to work with the best and I am no different.
What have you learnt from Ramu sir?
Well, so many things! However, it is his dedication and passion towards his craft that really has spellbound me.
What about Emraan Hashmi?
Oh, he is so down-to-earth and nice to work with. Unlike his screen image, he is completely the opposite.
