The Karnataka High Court today adjourned to April 8 hearing of self-styled godman Nityananda Swami's criminal petition praying for quashing of criminal cases, including rape charges filed against him.

When the case came up before Judge Arali Nagaraj, the government pleader submitted his statement of objections as
directed by the court on March 30.

The judge then posted the case to April 8.
Meanwhile, the Ramanagaram Sessions court also posted the hearing of Nityananda's anticipatory bail application to April seven when it came up yesterday.
