The third round of talks between the management of Suzuki Motorcycles and its employee union over revoking the suspension of three union leaders failed on Tuesday.
"As of yet, no concrete understanding between the two groups could be reached," said Ramesh Ahuja, Gurgaon labour officer, after coming out of the talks late on Tuesday evening.
Ahuja is mediating talks between the company management and the union.
Tension had gripped the Suzuki plant near the Kherki Dhaula toll plaza on Friday after the company suspended three employees' union leaders following their brawl with a company vice-president (VP).
Meanwhile, Hindustan Times has also learnt that the Manesar-based Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) employee union is also pressing with their own management for the withdrawal of suspension of their counterparts.
Confirming the same, Ram Mehar Singh, president, Maruti Suzuki Workers' Union said, "We are extending our complete support to our friends. The company management doesn't have a choice but to reinstate the suspended employees."
Though production at the firm has not been impacted, a police team has been stationed at the factory since last Friday as precautionary measure.

{{/usCountry}}Parminder, vice-president, Suzuki Motorcycles employees' union, who is one of the three suspended workers, said, "If the management does not reinstate us by March 29, we will begin fresh protests."
The next round of talks is scheduled on Wednesday.
