"The players would assemble in Mumbai on May 10 and then leave on May 11 night," Indian cricket board secretary Niranjan Shah said on Thursday while announcing the team.

Coach Greg Chappell is to go to his home country Australia in the intervening period before the team's departure for the Caribbean islands, a board source said.

India are to play five one-dayers and four Tests in West Indies from May 18 to July 4.
