Chouhan replied in nagative when scribes queried him on the possibility of a change of candidate in the two constituencies at the eleventh hour.

The CM during his brief interaction with journalists at the party headquarters asserted that the party would contest the election with full strength and would win both the seats.

Meanwhile, a list of 40 senior leaders, including former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former deputy PM LK Advani and Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, who are likely to tour these constituencies for election campaign, is being sent to the Election Commision.

These leaders would be addressing election meetings in Vidisha and Bada Malehra constituencies tentatively from October 23 to 28.

Earlier, at a meeting at the party office it was decided that the chief minister and other senior leaders would address election meetings up to the sector level while the ministers in charge of the electioneering in the assembly constituencies would get involved in electioneering up to the polling booth level.

Those who attended the meeting include Chouhan, party affairs in charge for Vidisha constituency Anil Dave and ministers Raghavji, Rustam Singh, Narottam Mishra, Jagdish Devda, Himmat Kothari, Antar Singh Arya, Vijay Shah.
