No decision yet on Shakti Vidya Mandir students

PARENTS OF the 27 students of Shakti Vidya Mandir school, who were not provided admit cards for Class X exams by the school authorities concerned, are still deeply worried over the future of their wards.

PARENTS OF the 27 students of Shakti Vidya Mandir school, who were not provided admit cards for Class X exams by the school authorities concerned, are still deeply worried over the future of their wards. They have not received any decision from by the MP Board of Secondary Education also. The director of the school, Alok Singh, has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.

The 27 students of Shakti Vidya Mandir could not appear in the High School exam that began on Thursday because Alok Singh did not submit the exam application forms within the stipulated time with the Board. However, he had taken the exam fee from students.

On being contacted, MP Board of Secondary Education Public Relations Officer (PRO) R K Chaurasia said that the parents of the students approached the Board regarding respective matter. “They contacted us on Thursday. They were asked to give an application so that a decision could be taken for the students regarding permission of appearing in supplementary exam to be held in June”, said Chaurasia. However, he added that the Board has no received any application on the said matter.
