Just putting together a console, deejay, psychedelic lights and swanky décor doesn't ensure that you get a rocking nightspot. In Delhi, a good food menu is critical to the success of a bar, but at No Escape, the chicken satay has no flavour and even the accompanying peanut sauce lacks the punch.
The menu is a hotchpotch of Indian, Continental and Indonesian, which is not the case at Shalom, No Escape's sister concern, where all the ingredients are in place. If only No Escape had concentrated on F&B and getting the music right, it wouldn't be deserted night after night.
