Madhya Pradesh ministers will not celebrate Holi this year in the wake of the recent Varanasi blasts and hailstorms in the State, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced at Bhopal on Monday.

The Chief Minister said the State Cabinet would stay away from Holi celebrations on account of the death of innocent people in the temple town and widespread crop loss due to excessive rains and hailstorm that has affected farmers, a press release said. Chouhan on Monday visited hailstorm-hit districts.
