According to the list, 33 polling stations have been identified as sensitive.

Meanwhile, the administration has geared up for fair and incident free municipal corporation election. District administration has divided the city in seven zones and 26 sectors.

There are 108 polling stations and 638 polling booths where around 6 lakh voters would caste their votes on October 31.

SSP Raja Srivastav has directed the subordinate police officials to ensure the surrendering of arms licence in their respective police station.

Srivastav has also directed the officials to arrest the wanted miscreants and to maintain strict vigil on the movement of anti-social elements.

Subordinate officials have been directed strictly implement the election code of conduct and administration is concentrated on the movement of vehicles with nameplates of MLAs.

According to officials, one sub inspector would be deputed at each sensitive polling station along with one section PAC.

Administration has decided to deploy seven police station incharge, 180 sub inspector, 100 inspector, 240 head constables along with 8 sector PAC and homeguards for commencement of the peaceful polling.
