If you liked Tanushree Dutta’s ‘lover girl’ image in Aashiq Banaya Aapne, wait till she tells you that she enjoys doing roles with shades of grey. “I have been mean and bitchy in life so there’s no denying that shades of grey come naturally to me.”

And her forthcoming film, Raqueeb will see her exploring her dark side also. The film also stars Sharman Joshi, Rahul Khanna and Jimmy Shergill and it goes without saying that she ‘enjoyed the sole attention of three good looking men on the sets’. For those who like her in the lovey dovey roles, need not be disappointed as she has three films, all slated for release this year, which will see her romancing on the screen.
“There’s Vishram Sawant’s Risk with Randeep Hooda, Vikram Bhatt’s Speed with Zayed Khan and Subhash Ghai’s Good Boy, Bad Boy with Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor,” she informs. And yes, the lady says no to kissing onscreen, finally. “I felt really awkward and have no plans to repeat it ever. My folks still haven’t got over the shock.” She plans to keep a clean slate and is ready to take ‘calculated risks’.
Not considering Bollywood a secure profession, she has now overpowered her initial inhibitions. “While modelling was more for pocket money, I really wanted to be associated with the showbiz. But coming from a conservative family, it wasn’t an easy choice. Looking back, I don’t have any regrets, but now I don’t want to end up as one-flick wonder,”she insists.
