Dr Rajesh Talwar, accused of killing his daughter and domestic help, was sent back to Dasna jail on Friday after police failed to make headway during his three-day interrogation.

The Department of Personnel & Training said they’ve asked the CBI’s opinion on the Talwars’ request for transferring the case to the premier agency. A CBI source said the request might be accepted next week.
Police said they couldn’t recover the weapon of crime, the bloodstained clothes he allegedly wore that night and the victims’ phones. "He has misled us. We want to make him sit through a narco test," said AK Tripathi, SP (City). During the test, conducted only with a court’s permission, a person is administered a chemical to lower his inhibitions.
Talwar’s lawyer MP Singh said the family would oppose the narco test application that will come up for hearing on June 2, when his bail plea will also be considered. Talwar is in judicial custody till June 6.
