No major complaints at DIOS control room!

CALL IT a lack of faith on officials of the education department or simple hiding of information, the control room at the DIOS office has not received any major complaint from any quarters even after a week has passed since the High School and Intermediate examinations of the UP Board got under way.

This is in sharp contrast to the fact that while school owners are contacting mediapersons and are giving specific information about irregularities and anomalies prevailing at the various examination centre, the control room has not received enough complaint if the in-charge of the control room is to be believed.

Even the DIOS has affirmed that they have received only few complaints. Yet quite a few teachers have been engaged at the control room to register the complaint and report the same to the concerned official.

Except for routine reports about a number of copycats held, centres debarred and invigilators removed, the control room at the DIOS office has no other information to pass on. Erratic behaviour of the control room in-charge, even in the presence of DIOS Vikas Srivastava, was also a cause for concern, said a principal of an aided school.

Copycats held: On Friday, 211 examinees were held across the State. Of these, a maximum number of students (53) were held in Allahabad. In all, 2964 examinees were held for using unfair means. And of these 630 were held from Agra.
